Fleas
Ticks
Fly Eggs/Maggots
Warbles
Fur Mites
Ear Mites
Mange Mites

Possible Symptoms

Excessive scratching
Skin redness and/or irritation
Open sores from scratching
Fur loss from scratching
Scaly appearance to skin
Black or white flecks on skin or hair
brown substance inside ears and head shaking (ear mites).
Swelling or isolated lump around neck and shoulders.(Warbles)

Treatment

Over the counter medication for small animals (guinea pigs, rabbits, cats NOT DOG)
should be used at first signs.
See a vet if infestations become severe. Ticks and maggots should be removed
