Night Feces/Copropagy
A normal Activity of a Rabbit

Night Feces/Copropagy

The ingestion of night feces is a normal activity
Rabbits will consume this directly from their own rectum.
Although some see this and become worried, please note that it is a normal function
From this a rabbit will retrieve beneficial vitamins such as Vitamin B
along with bacteria that it needs back into its system.
Night feces are soft and sticky and will appear much like a tiny cluster of grapes.
This is normal and does not indicate any kind of disease
