Malocclusion

Buck Teeth.........or..........Wolf Teeth

Malocclusions

Rabbits with Malocclusions are most often born with it.
This condition is When the bottom set of teeth come up over the top, and split
then eventually break off.
Most Breeders choose to cull these rabbits as it is passed on to from generation to generation.
This problem is not life threatening unless the teeth become so over grown that the rabbit can no longer eat.
However in some cases rabbits can have mild malocclusions where the teeth do not grow long or split or cause serious problems.
In this case these teeth should be clipped with nail clippers,
However if you do not feel comfortable doing this yourself
the rabbit should be brought to a vet to have them clipped.
